Bristol Extracts is your full-service, dedicated team of CBD professionals.
Bristol Extracts was founded on a simple idea: Provide a high-quality, safe alternative to opioids through consciously created CBD products.
Bristol Extracts was established by Juan Guevara and Eric Blazak. Both entrepreneurs were in two very different domains (Guevara was the owner of the authentic gourmet Mexican restaurant called Rio Tomatlan and Balzak ran a divorce mediation center called Talk Mediation) but came together with a shared purpose.
Their idea was simple. Guevara wanted to grow CBD, a substance he believes in as a true alternative to the dangerous pharmaceuticals and opioids that have plagued cities across America. Blazak was all ears, eager to help turn this dream into a much-needed reality.
Within a few months—and after calling on lots of favors from lots of friends in their small community—they had 30 acres of plants in the ground, a rock-solid Board of Directors, and a state-of-the-art, fully sustainable geothermal factory that would become their home.
Now, Bristol Extracts provides retailers with an exquisite product line, Bristol Extracts Hemp Wellness Co. Everything is created in-house, with seed-to-shelf quality control, ensuring that millions of consumers are provided with the best benefits of the cannabinoids they are purchasing.

After receiving a B.A. degree in Communications from SUNY College at Oneonta, Eric worked in TV and film in New York City for 12 years, managing staff of up to 100 creative, accounting, and technical individuals on award-winning programs with multi-million-dollar budgets. Companies he worked for included MTV, VH1, A&E, Oxygen, Discovery Channel, Discovery Kids, as well as several independent film companies.
In 2003 Eric and his family moved back to Canandaigua, NY, where Eric grew up, and he received his JD degree from the University of Buffalo in 2005. He is now a member of the NYS Bar Association.
After practicing matrimonial law for 5 years, Eric founded Talk Mediation, a center for peaceful dispute resolution. AC Braddock is the CEO of an internationally known and respected 26-year-old technology company, Eden Labs, that specializes in the research, development, and design of equipment for the creation of products in biofuels, flavorings, environmental remediation, functional foods, cannabis, hemp, natural products, supplements, nutraceuticals, distilling, etc. and has placed hundreds of systems around the world.
While Eden Labs serves many industries, in 2009 Ms. Braddock envisioned that the purity of supercritical CO2 and ethanol-derived products would be a necessity for the widespread legalization of medical cannabis. This vision, and years of educating and leadership in creating a sustainable and standardized market, laid the foundation for an industry that has grown at an exponential rate and cemented Eden’s reputation for creating an industry in extraction technology that did not previously exist, the commercial extraction of cannabis.
She also recognized that, as an integral part of building a new, heavily politicized industry, direct interaction and guidance for regulators and legislators was essential. In 2015, AC began lobbying for the Cannabis industry in Washington DC with the nation’s largest trade organization, the National Cannabis Industry Association. She was democratically elected to the board twice by its membership and served as Board Chair. While serving as Board Chair, see focused on providing access to the facilities requirements for CGMP, OSHA, Fire Codes, FDA labeling requirements, etc. She also formulated a platform for nationwide outreach to other industry lobbying groups to share regulatory wins and challenges, promote social equity and consumer education in market creation. For the past six years, AC has been a Board Member of The Cannabis Alliance, the largest trade organization in Washington state, and was elected twice to the position of Vice-Chair.
AC is intensely driven to ensure every group, board, and client in which she is involved holds the highest standards in modern business practices to build a sustainable, trusted, industry based in science. To bring more perspective and success to investors and operators, she has given dozens of talks and seminars on the importance of supply chain management, the connection between product development, and efficiencies in the production process, brand formation, and how the political landscape is driving product development and market creation instead of new developments in the science of health and wellness and actual consumer demand.
Eden Labs has been recognized as one of the top 10 fastest-growing women-led companies in Seattle, Washington. Her tireless dedication to her company and those it serves has garnered her a reputation as a thought-leader in modern business practice, a unifier across industries, and an inspirational speaker in this emerging industry. AC’s vision is to strategically expand the ever-growing demand for organic, plant-based solutions in health and wellness in a wide array of expanding markets.
AC also serves on the Steering Committee for Green Flower Media, on the board of The Farm in Boulder, CO, as well as on the Advisory Board for Extraction Magazine. Ms. Braddock is a founding supporter of four Cannabis Women’s groups and is featured in multiple media outlets and the documentary Women of Weed.
